Description

On a blue field, the silver lace detailed white, edged on each side with a red stripe, at the top an eight-pointed star, charged by a small sphere voided, beneath the star two gray scrolls, edged white, inscribed “PALMETTO” at the top and “MINUTEMAN” at the bottom.  Below the scrolls a gray oblong sphere, bearing the South Carolina National Guard Shoulder Sleeve Insignia, followed by three diagonally ascending campaign streamers from World War II inscribed “TUNISIA”, “NAPLES-FOGGIA”, and “ROME-ARNO.” At the bottom three white palmetto branches in a diagonal.

 

 

 

The regalia were originally authorized on 22 June 1979. Updated to reflect current campaign participation credit on 22 July 2020.
